For every sunrise a sunset follows,
And in every sunset a darkness wallows.
Such is the ebb and flow of life,
Full of happiness, joy, trouble and strife.
No gain without pain, no cheer without sorrow,
A hopeless today, we yearn for tomorrow.
With aspirations, desires, plans and dreams,
We wish for a future of promising extremes.
But tomorrow is another world, a lifetime from touch;
It’s the present we should grasp with an ironclad clutch!
This moment is all that matters for now,
In the here to immerse myself today I vow!
